CAMPAIGN 2008
Republicans Can Win on Health Care
A market-based system can give us freedom, innovation and health security.
BY KARL ROVE
Tuesday, September 18, 2007 12:01 a.m. EDTAll around America, families are grappling with health-care concerns. They wonder if they'll have insurance at a price they can afford. They worry about how much out-of-pocket health costs take from the family budget. They question if they'll be able to pick their own doctor. Some feel trapped in jobs they don't like out of fear of losing their health insurance...
Read the rest here, if you have the stomach: OpinionJournal - Extra. I particularly like this part, one of Rove's bullet points:
• Stop junk lawsuits. I've heard sad stories from doctors and patients...
Hahahaaaha, See, it's those avaricious poor people and their crooked lawyers that have ruined the health care system! This guy's a riot! JUNK LAWSUITS! How about junk proposals from disgraced White House con men? And, I'm sure he's traveled far and wide interviewing doctors and patients in his never ending quest to help, "... poorer and older Americans get quality health care without sacrificing what everyone wants--the ability to choose their own doctor and health coverage that meets their family's particular needs." Hahahaha, BURN IN HELL KARL!

Now some serious shit. Bush promoted this guy and helped get him killled. But do I feel bad about it? No.
He was that crazy Sunni, Abu Risha also known as Sheik Sattar, head of the Anbar Salvation Council and allegedly the man behind the U.S. success story in Iraq's Anbar province according to Bush & Co. From:Al Jazeera English - Programmes - Anbar's Ghost:
U.S. officials credited him with leading Sunni tribes who killed Americans in the past into a new alliance with them.
Because of Abu Risha, American political and military leaders say, Sunni attacks on US forces have dropped dramatically and life is beginning to return to normal in Anbar, once the heartland of the Sunni Insurgency.
And accolades like this one:
His importance to the U.S. was made clear by a Sept. 3 meeting with President George W. Bush. On a surprise visit to Anbar province, Bush posed for photos with Abu Risha, who cut the figure of an Arab prince, with an immaculate gold-rimmed robe and a meticulously groomed goatee and a heavy mustache.
Abu Risha — in his late 30s — was killed 10 days later along with two bodyguards by a roadside bomb near his compound in the Anbar capital of Ramadi.
It was a year ago this month that Abu Risha launched his campaign to rally other tribes behind him to fight al-Qaida militants in his province. The fight was personal: 10 of his relatives, including four of his brothers, were killed by al-Qaida for dealing with the U.S. military.
It turns out, according to Bush’s Fake Sheik Whacked: The Surge and the Al Qaeda Bunny Greg Palast:
1. Sheik Abu Risha wasn't a sheik.
2. He wasn't killed by Al Qaeda.
3. The new alliance with former insurgents in Anbar is as fake as the sheik - and a murderous deceit.
In Bush and Rove's excellent adventure they have strived to bury the truth in order to replace it with whatever suits their immediate needs. How do I know? INCONSISTANCIES in everything they say and do. Although, today, the bloodhounds that follow behind and expose what they bury are no longer, the Press, 60 Minutes, or Jack Anderson, the truth seems to almost surface on its own.
Why don't these guy get it? You cannot lie, cheat and steal your way to greatness. But, I suppose, as long as the money continues to roll over so will they. And so will the ever decreasing number of Americans willing to participate in their vast ponzi scheme to fleece and murder. Gene
