Excuse me, have you seen the conductor?

If the train should jump the track, do you want your money back?

If the road to hell is paved with good intentions, where does the road paved with dubious intentions go? I ask because It's becoming more and more clear that the intentions of the Bush, Paulson bailout plan have become less and less clear.

People on the right and left are crazy with disbelief. Where are the safeguards? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't we just reward a whole bunch of crooked, rick folks?

It's come to this; even when the "wrong," the deed itself is staring us in the face, we can't formulate a corrective measure. Oh, I shouldn't say we, I should say "they." Everyday people could have come up with a better plan. This top down bullshit hasn't worked and is what's delivered us to this no-man's-land of fiscal self mutilation but we can't shake free of our lethargy long enough to demand better. Surely, we think, if we just grease the wheels one more time the train will make it to the station.

It's late, the train's late. Yon Cassius hath a lean and hungry look, soon there will be blood on the tracks.   Gene

P.S. Self kudos, I managed to quote Shakespeare and Dylan in the same short sentence!

I believed they've stripped the train at this point. Nothing left but a couple of lumps of coal.

That quote is impressive!
